Working in Partnership With The DfE – International STEM Teachers.

Prospero Teaching has been commissioned by the English Government’s Department for Education (DfE) to offer a unique programme, to recruit and support qualified International maths and science teachers, to England from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. We are working with a wide range of schools across England’s exciting cities and would love to have your school or academy join.

Schools in the partnership have the recruitment fee funded by the DfE. Through joining the programme you will have funding to secure teachers without the worry of the expensive recruitment fees. Overseas teachers will be open-minded about locations and have the necessary qualifications to succeed in their new posts.

Why is this good for schools?

Aside from the teacher recruitment fee being funded by the DfE, there are a number of additional benefits to our endorsement from the DfE.

  • Sourcing maths & science teachers
  • Matching teachers to your school’s requirements
  • Arranging video interviews on your behalf
  • Full acclimatisation programme for teachers.
  • Free ongoing CPD training for teachers
  • Personal mentor for each teacher
  • Dedicated recruitment manager for each school

How does the initial recruitment process work?

Teachers will be pre-screened and qualified by our overseas teams and introduced to your school. If the candidate is successful during your interview process we will assist in the visa application process and relocation of the candidate.
