How much will I get paid?

How much you get paid will vary depending on the type of work you do, the location of your school and how many years of experience you have.

Teachers doing daily supply or contract work through Prospero Teaching will be paid on a daily pay rate. Those that take on a permanent role will be paid according to the Main PayScale.

Will I be paid weekly?

We are aligned to a number of recognised umbrella companies and whichever one you join, you will receive pay on-time, weekly and directly into your bank account providing we have received an approved (by the school) timesheet for your work. Timesheets are to be submitted via the portal.

How do I get paid?

We are aligned to a number of recognised umbrella companies and whichever one you join, you will receive pay on-time, weekly and directly into your bank account.

To process a pay claim all you will need to do is upload your approved timesheet to the portal.

If you are unsure on how to do this, please contact your consultant or email timesheetscentral@prosperogrp.com , timesheetssouth@prosperogrp.com or timesheetsnorth@prosperogrp.com depending on which Prospero office you are working with.

Can you work full-time on a 0 hour contract?

We are a here to find you working hours that are suitable to you and are flexible to your needs. However, when you are on a 0 hour contract we cannot guarantee work on an ongoing basis.

Is the pay through an umbrella company or PAYE?

We are aligned to a number of recognised umbrella companies and whichever one you join, you will receive pay on-time, weekly and directly into your bank account.

We also have the option of being paid through PAYE. However, being paid through an Umbrella company is more flexible as PAYE is tied to one day a week for you to be paid so timesheets must be submitted on time every week via the portal.

Do you offer sponsorships?

Depending on your area, occasionally there might be sponsorship opportunities that get offered by local authorities. You will need to contact to your local Prospero office to find out more.

How does the refer a friend scheme work?

Refer a teacher and earn £150 or refer support staff and earn £75 in 3 easy steps by completing our referral form.
