Year 1 Teacher

Are you a qualified teacher looking for the next step in your career? Prospero Teaching are looking for a Year 1 Primary school Teacher for a school in North East Bristol.

Job Type: Contractual (ASAP start)

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay: £110 – £120 per day

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Read, Write Inc. (RWI) lessons to a Year 1 class
• Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons that align with the school’s curriculum
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Attend and participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Training in Read, Write Inc. (RWI)
• Experience teaching Year 1 students
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
