Teaching Assistant – Bradford

Do you have experience working with children and are actively looking for work? Prospero are working with an excellent school in Bradford looking for Teaching Assistants.

The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

Contracts/Positions Details

• Bradford
• Primary Teaching Assistant
• Type of work- Full Time
• Start Date- ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – On going
• End date (if applicable) – N/A
• Hours- 8:00AM- 4:00PM
• Minimum rate of pay – £65.00 per day

Your responsibilities will include;

• Classroom support – activities, organisation, engagement, behaviour, emotional support
• Working with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Support in therapy sessions
• Break/Lunch time supervision
• Keeping progress reports

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification essential
• Previous experience working in a UK School
• Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

To be Eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
