This is a highly rewarding, and challenging role. The School looking for individuals who are supportive, non-judgmental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them.
Planning and cover work will be provided.
This role is ideal teacing assistants and aspiring teachers looking to gain more experience before applying for teacher training.
School hours are 8.30 am to 3.00pm, during term time. ___________________________________________________________________
About the Cover Supervisor Position:
** Supervising pupils and ensuring a positive learning environment.
** No marking, planning or preparation – cover work is provided for you.
** Covering PE lessons as well as in the classroom.
** A head start before applying for teacher training.

The Successful Cover Supervisor will have/be:
**Strong classroom management skills while providing an inclusive learning environment.
**Confidence with teaching across all Key stages.
** GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent functional skills in English and Maths
**Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
**Posses strong interpersonal skills while communicating with parents, pupils and staff.

To be Eligible the Cover Supervisor must have/be:
**Relevant experience (Degree preferable but not essential )
**Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK.
**The ability to provide two professional references that cover the last two years of employment.
**Hold a fully enhanced DBS certificates (child workforce only) that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to complete one.
