Senior SEN Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a team of Assessment and Case Coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, positivity, and high performance.
• Oversee statutory processes in line with the Children and Families Act 2014, ensuring that legal obligations and best practices are met.
• Work closely with the SEN Manager and Head of Service to identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with parents, schools and partner agencies, ensuring that a child-centred approach is at the heart of all decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

• SEND Expertise: Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices, with the ability to navigate complex cases.
