Job description

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for SEN Tutors to provide support to children and young people in the Bexley area.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a specialist Tutor with to provide Maths, English and Science support to children in the Bexley area who are in need of educational support outside of a mainstream education setting.

Prospero Teaching are partnered with the local authorities and SEND teams in the local area and we provide 1:1 and small group support to individuals with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN).

We support children from the ages of 4-18 years and the sessions can take place both during the school day and after school hours. The tutor will be required to assess the students’ current ability and then work closely with them to plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge the gaps in the pupils’ education and help them progress.

The Tutor role is perfect for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom and make a difference to the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
