SEN Teaching Assistant -Leeds

Do you have experience in Primary Education/SEN? Are you actively looking for work? Prospero Teaching are recruiting SEN(Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistants to work in a fantastic Mainstream School in Leeds.

The role is to start immediately.

For this role you must:

• Have a strong academic background (degree or similar)
• Have worked with pupils before in a support/on a 1-2-1
• Have experience giving personal care

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a school – (Ideal)
• Previous Primary/SEN education experience (preferred)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Leeds
• Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
• Full time/part-time – Full Time
• Hours – 08:30 – 3:30
• The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £65 per day.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional related references
