Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic Science teacher to work in a secondary school located in Bushey. The school has a strong Science department and currently has 700 students enrolled.

The teacher and students are motivated and supportive, with very high moral, as the school has yet to receive an Ofsted report. The school is seeking a qualified Teacher who is able to teach Science to Key stage 3.

The Science department delivers an inspiring curriculum running a range of competitions and extra-curricular activities.

The school itself is absolutely stunning with a fully operational building dating back to 1922, along with a state of the art newly built facility and part of a trust that is very successful.

Science Teacher contract / position details

Location: Bushey

Position: Key stage 3 Science

Type of work: Science class teaching, marking

Music teaching job start date: ASAP or September

Minimum rate of pay: in line with your main pay scale

Hour: 8:00 am- 4:00pm (term time only)

Science Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher
• You will need to have taught in Secondary Schools either in a permanent or supply basis
• NQT’S welcome to apply
• Overseas trained Science teachers welcome to apply
• You will be required to commit to a full-time Science teaching timetable
• Joining a well-resourced Science dept where team teaching and support is given
• You will be required to plan engaging stimulating Science lessons and using the variety of technology the school have to deliver these Science lessons
• Hold strong communication skills
• Ability to engage with students and build rapport
