A popular secondary school located in Twickenham, is interested in securing a Psychology teacher starting in January 2025!

The ideal Psychology teacher will be qualified with a QTS, have a degree related to Psychology and a solid teaching background.

As a Psychology teacher, you will be hard-working, a team player and be someone who engages with students and staff. The school is interested in appointing a Psychology teacher to join a thriving and dynamic department in ASAP

This Psychology teacher teaching post will be temporary to permanent and will become permanent dependant on performance/application starting ASAP

You will be teaching Psychology following the AQA exam board.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND PSYCHOLOGY TEACHER CONTRACT:

• A large college with high aspirations
• An Ofsted rated ‘good’ school*Psychology taught at Key stage 3 & 4
• Sociology taught key stage 3
• Solid Social Sciences department
• Supportive team
• Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment
• Supportive yet high energy atmosphere
• This is a full-time position including planning and marking
• Interviewing ASAP

THE RIGHT PSYCHOLOGY TEACHER WILL BE:

• Hold a BA and PGCE in Psychology or QTS
• Confident with teaching A level Psychology and Sociology
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Available ASAP

THE SUCCESSFUL PSYCHOLOGY TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
*Exceptional degree and GCSEs
*UK classroom teaching experience
*Eligibility to work in the UK
*Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
*A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
*Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependant on experience
