Nursery Deputy Manager

Are you passionate about early childhood education and leadership? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager in Barnet to support our team in delivering high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day management of the nursery.
• Support the development and implementation of learning activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Manage and lead staff, providing guidance and training.
• Monitor and track children’s progress and development.
• Work closely with parents to foster positive relationships.

Qualifications and experience:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent), which is the standard qualification for working with young children.
• Previous experience in childcare, ideally with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursery or early years setting.
• A recognised leadership or management qualification (e.g. a Level 3 or 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children’s Care, Learning and Development) is often preferred.
• Up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training, as these are essential in ensuring the safety and welfare of children.
