ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for multiple Learning Support Assistant’s for a brilliant all-girls Secondary school in London, Greenwich.

The school is a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive SEN department and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.

The position is for experienced learning support assistants from both secondary and primary phases. The school are looking to take successful applicant’s on permanently after 12 weeks whilst working temporarily through Prospero Teaching.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: London, Greenwich
• Position: Learning Support Assistant
• Type of work: Working with a variety
• Start date: January
• Duration / Likely Duration: Full academic year
• End date (if applicable): N/A
• Contract type: Temporary to permanent
• Full time/part time: Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate £90 per day
• Hours: 08:15 am – 15:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with some or all SEN such as: ADHD, Behaviour, MLD, SLD, Dyslexia and ASD.
• Previous experience working in a UK school either in a primary or secondary setting.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
