KS3/4 Music Specialist – ASAP / April 2025 start

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Music teacher for a truly outstanding school in Bury. You will be responsible for teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, and some Primary sessions too.

This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking.

Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M61, M66), so this position is ideal for colleagues based in Greater Manchester, Lancashire or even Merseyside. There are strong public transport links too via local train and bus servies. This school is truly outstanding and is immensely proud of its reputation in the education community.

The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Music or Performance Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
– Provide two professional child related references
