Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in the Bristol area looking for work? Or are you a former teacher looking to get yourself back in to the classroom on a more casual basis? Then please see below!

We are currently looking to bring in more HLTA’s to support our network of Bristol-based schools. We need educators who are driven, adaptable and inspiring to join our Bristol team as we continue our expansion and support of local schools.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Start Date: Immediate

Rate of pay : £115 – £135 p/d (as per assignment/negotiable)

Hours: 08:30 16:00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver group interventions and support in-class learning across KS1 and KS2.
  • Provide tailored support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
  • Contribute to our school’s positive and inclusive environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably within a primary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the school.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

*Hold right to work in the UK

*Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

*Provide two professional child related references
