GCSE Tutor

Location: Uxbridge, West London
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured, engaging tuition in GCSE Maths and/or English, tailored to individual learning needs.
• Create and implement personalised learning plans to close gaps in knowledge and build exam readiness.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to families or coordinators.
• Adapt sessions for students with SEN needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible support.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Maths and/ or English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Desired:

• PGCE in Secondary Education and/or QTS.
• Experience supporting students with SEN.
