French and Italian Teacher – Chelmsford

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are looking for an MFL Teacher to teach both French and Italian in a Secondary Grammar school in Chelmsford.

The school is a medium size mainstream Secondary School with a supportive Languages department. The school does have a 6^th form, although most of the timetable for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4, teaching GCSE classes. The school is ideally looking for an MFL Teacher who can teach both Italian and French however they will also consider a specialist in either language.

The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location – Chelmsford
• Position – Italian Teacher or French Teacher
• Type of work – KS3/KS4 MFL Teacher
• Contract or position start date – ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – ongoing cover
• Contract or likely end date (if applicable) – July 2023 with the potential for extension
• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – temporary
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £130 for qualified teachers
• Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year MFL teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
