English Teacher – Tameside – Full time – ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to work at a secondary school in Tameside on a full time basis. The role is to start as soon as possible and will be until the summer break in July.

This role is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers of English.

The successful candidate will need to fully immerse themselves in the school and department and assist in planing and preparing lessons, attend departmental meetings & parents evenings when necessary. You will also need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – Tameside

Position – English Teacher

Start date – ASAP

End date – July 2023

Full time

Minimum rate of pay – £135 per day

Hours – 8:15AM – 4:00PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness training in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

English Teaching experience desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Provide two professional references
