About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work within a dedicated department to foster a love of literature, language, and communication, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students
• Assess and monitor student progress to ensure academic growth
• Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental activities
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
• Passionate about English literature and language
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is preferred
