Prospero Teaching are supporting a popular secondary school in Salford to recruit for a qualified English teacher to join them after the Christmas break until they close for summer in July. There will then be a possibility to apply for the role and become a permanent member of staff. It is essential that all applicants are qualified to teach English literature & language to key stage 3 & 4 students and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day
Hours 8:30AM 4PM
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent
Previous experience teaching in a UK school (language & literature)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness training & FGM issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one
Provide a minimum of two professional references
