Teacher of English – Kent, Tunbridge Wells

Prospero Teaching is working with an Ofsted rated ”Outstanding” school who is looking to recruit a NQT or experienced Teacher of English. We are looking for a Teacher of English who can start in a thriving school based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

This position is starting in September 2023 and is open to NQT’s or experienced teachers. The ideal Teacher of English will be committed, positive and a versatile teacher to join their successful department.

Teacher of English:

• You will be joining a successful, well-structured department.
• The position is open to both English NQT’s and experienced English teachers.
• English is taught at year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11
• The school is located in well-served location for transport and parking is available onsite.

Teacher of English Contract Details:

Location: Kent, Tunbridge Wells

Position: Teacher of English

Type of work: KS3 / KS4 / KS5

Contract or position starting date: ASAP

Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm): Permanent

Full time/part time: Full time

Minimum rate of pay: PAY TO SCALE

Hours: 8am – 3:30pm or 4:00pm, plus parents’ evenings

Teacher of English Experience and Qualifications:

QTS or equivalent

PGCE / SCITT / TEACH FIRST

English related degree
