Deputy Team Leader Pre School – Worthing

 

Prospero Teaching are working with this delightful private nursery in Worthing who have a position available for a Deputy Team Leader to join their Pre School on a full time basis.

 

This is a wonderful, friendly nursery with a lot to offer.  The staff here are motivated with a passion to learn and develop and to work collectively to ensure that the high standards never falter.  You will be working 5 days per week/40 hours around a shift basis.

 

You will be working as  a part of a large team as a key person, observing and tracing children’s development and leading parent meetings.  A good understanding of the EYFS is required with excellent communication skills giving daily verbal feedback to families.

 

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate efficient delegation, motivation and the ability to put their team first.  You must not be afraid of a challenge!

Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

Minimum rate of pay – £18,500 to £19,200 pa

Hours – Various – 40 hours over the week

 

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

Must have experience with EYFS and confident using it to plan appropriate and engaging activities for children of different ages and abilities.

 

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

 

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
