Teaching Assistant – Oldham

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for a Primary aged student in the Oldham area

Two primary schools in OL2 are looking for staff to provide support for a Reception and Year 6 student with SEN needs. Someone with previous SEN experience in Primary aged students would be ideal.

The role and contract:

• Location – Oldham
• Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – Teaching Support
• Start date – Immediate
• Duration / Likely Duration – July 2023 in the first instance
• End date (if applicable) – July 2023, subject to review
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time – Full time or Part Time
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £85 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm

The successful Teaching Assistant will be:

• Confident supporting learning across all aspects of the curriculum
• Be adaptable and able to adjust to the processes of the school
• Calm and approachable personality

Should have:

• A suitable Teaching Assistant qualification, minimum Level 2
• Classroom/Teaching Assistant experience
• Professional references covering the last 2 years
• Up-to-date DBS
• Eligibility to work in the UK
