An oversight for most of us is which essential items we need to have on our desk to keep us working efficiently, with a smile throughout our week. Here are our top tips for your ‘teaching desk survival kit‘ to help keep stress at bay and maybe make a few new friends in the process.

1.  Pens

There’s nothing worse than struggling to find a pen, get a decent fountain pen, it will write beautifully and make you look super-authoritative.

2.  Paracetamol

Essential for head and back aches.

We all get tired, dry eyes, whether we wear contact lenses or not.

4.  Cough sweets

It’s not fun having to raise your voice when your throat’s dry.
