Prospero Tutoring is a sub division of the leading Teaching Recruitment Agency; Prospero Teaching. As parents we know that each child is different, so strong teachers need to listen and assess individual needs, develop a tailored and structured approach (where schools may not be able to), and report regularly on progress.
We also know from experience that great teachers and tutors should act as a barometer, and assesses what level your child is at, how best to compliment their work in school and understand the techniques and tools for success, how to study independently, and plan what to cover in the timeframe agreed. At GCSE and A level, for example, tutoring should be targeted, based on the board specification, marking schemes as well as content, revision planning and exam technique. The same goes for the 11+ exams or keeping up with the settings exams each year at secondary.
