Supply Teachers are the backbone of the education industry and provide vital support to our schools throughout the academic year! As a Supply Teacher you are responsible for maintaining classroom behaviour and ensuring the students are completing their assigned work. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in an educational setting.

Prospero Teaching are looking for dynamic and motivated Supply Teachers who are confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. Candidates must be fully qualified Teachers with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching. Applications from experienced Supply Teachers and newly qualified teachers are welcome.

CONTRACT DETAILS

**Location – Southampton & Portsmouth

**Position – Supply Teacher

**Type of work – Support

**Contract or position start date – ASAP

**Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing

**Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Day to day

**Full time/part time – Full time

**Minimum rate of pay – £80-£100 (depending on experience)

**Hours – 8:15 am – 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

**NQT/QTS or equivalent

**Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK (Desirable)

**Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

**Hold Right to Work in the UK

**Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

**Provide two professional child related reference
