Administrator with Medical First AID training

Prospero Teaching are working with a successful secondary school located in Kensington and Chelsea, a richly diverse secondary school who are actively seeking a highly skilled administrator who is First AID trained.
They are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join their team as Administrative Assistant. This is an exciting role and requires someone with a good level of communication, organisational, IT and administrative skills. Duties will include but will not be limited to reception cover, administrative duties including using SIMS, Google Docs, Microsoft packages, taking calls from parents, logging the daily medical issues and working within safeguarding procedures.
This is a large, diverse secondary school and the ideal post holder will meet a range of people and the school require the candidate to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as this role requires contact with staff, students and parents.
The successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate that they have previous experience in an administrative role, are able to work flexibly and prioritise workload, work well under pressure and uphold a professional, friendly manner always.
Due to COVID-19 the school have split over 2 sites, the postholder will be the main first aider for KS3 – Y7 & Y8 pupils (approx. 250) & first aiders at work (approx. 50 staff).
Must be trained and have experience in being able to assist administer medications for pupils with conditions like diabetes, epilepsy, heart tremors, asthma, stress and anxiety, allergies, epi-pen administration etc. As well as emergency first aid for accidents and injuries.
- First Aid at Work Certificate or equivalent.
- A levels and GCSEs
Other information about this Administrator with First AID Training role:
Training and will be provided by the schools Medical Officer and an overview of pupils with known medical conditions will be provided.
We will be following COVID-19 prevention measures and full PPE is provided.
