Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week this year comes at a vital time for raising awareness and promoting positive relationships in schools.

Anti-Bullying Week 2021

Sadly, recent statistics on bullying and cyberbullying are quite troubling:

  • 1 out of 5 students say that they have been bullied in school
  • 70% of LGBTQ students have been verbally bullied
  • More than 1 third of students reported experiencing bias-based bullying

Friendships and other positive relationships among students were put under strain during the pandemic. Social media and online presence became the primary method for young people to stay connected. Unfortunately, this appears to have led to an increase in levels of cyberbullying among children and teenagers.

So what can we do to help during Anti-bullying week?

In response to the recent challenges that all our students have been facing and the increase in anti-bullying research and resources, Prospero have put together a range of free classroom resources and activities that you can use with your students during Anti-Bullying Week and beyond…

We’re sure that you will have anti-bullying policies and initiatives already present in school, but we hope that you find the free classroom resources below useful and informative. Let’s stand together against bullying:
