Safety in Schools: Staff and Students

Global travel remains affected, and you may need to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival in the UK. The government guidance on the Coronavirus travel corridors is updated regularly and will provide the most up-to-date advice and guidance.

From January 2021, the UK is introducing a points-based immigration system which will apply to all overseas teachers arriving after 31st December 2020. Most overseas residents who are under the age of 31 at the time of travelling to England will require a Tier 5 visa. Those in receipt of school sponsorship will require a Tier 2 visa, but there are many exemptions and your consultant can provide support on this.
